Family Weekend is a time for families to connect with their student, VCU, and the Richmond community through a series of events planned with them in mind. It is a time to also connect with your RAMily - all the other students, families, faculty, and staff at VCU!
Family Weekend is for our entire RAMily! We welcome all students and anyone they consider to be family to spend the weekend with us!
VCU Family Weekend will be October 6-8, 2023.
No. We hope our Rams will bring as many people as they want to celebrate with us! Some events do have space limitations, so please make sure you provide an accurate headcount when registering for individual events that may require advanced registration.

VCU Family Weekend events begin around noon on Friday and end in the afternoon on Sunday. Families may arrive at any time and should consult the schedule to determine when they would like to be on campus. Check-in will begin Friday afternoon and remain open through Saturday morning.
